I am glad you're reading and enjoying our website. My name is Ben Landfeld and with my wife Laura we live in Cleveland, Ohio.

We breed "gentle giant dogs", that's how people call Shiloh Shepherds. We started in 1998 with our first Shiloh "Jewel".

Currently we have 3 Shiloh Shepherd females: Keeper, Ginger and Bristol.

In 2006 we started another new and very interesting breed - Miniature bulldogs, the "mini dogs". So if you live on a big farm with lots of acres or in a small apartment house, we have a companion for you.

Our minibulldogs are "Tiger" and "Buckeye" and their first puppy "Lady". Also "Tessa" who comes from "Tiger" and "Irish". Miss Bohemia "Miss B" comes from the best lines of original English Bulldog from the Czech Republic and "Irish Rose" we bought from another breeder.

Originally I came from the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia) where I used to breed German Shepherds with my father. Here in the United States we concentrate on plush coat Shiloh Shepherds and Miniature bulldogs.

Our dogs run free nearly all day in our 1.5 - acre back yard. They sleep in our double garage, which we changed into the "dog's bedroom". Our business allows us to stay home for most of the day so we have a lot of time to raise our puppies in the proper way. Our puppies are born and raised in our house and when they are old enough they move to outside runs to discover the outside world. All our dogs are registered with The National Shiloh Breed Registry (NSBR) and our Miniature bulldogs are registered with The National Miniature Bulldog Registry (NMBR) All our puppies automatically come with pedigree papers.

Our Shiloh Shepherd males usually reach 30-31" in height and around 120-130 pounds, with a nice and friendly temperament. That's why they are called "gentle giants". We take pride in breeding big and healthy dogs with good structure and hips. We have quite a few families who came back to us for their second puppy. We also have families with three of our puppies. For us that is a very good sign. We must be doing something right.

In summer 2008 we added an extra 2 rooms to our house for whelping and raising new puppies. Our whelping room is equipped with all necessary appliances such as fridge, washer and dryer, microwave oven, digital scale and of course a bed where I sleep and watch pups 24 hours a day.

From both rooms puppies have easy access to outside runs separated according to their ages. We try to provide the best conditions for raising our puppies so they become the perfect healthy companion and make the new owner happy.
